Make cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.

 

Ensure access for all to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services. Provide access to safe, affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, improving road safety. Enhance inclusive and sustainable urbanization and capacity for participatory, integrated and sustainable human settlement planning and management. Strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural and natural heritage. Significantly reduce the number of deaths and the number of people affected by disasters. Reduce the adverse per capita environmental impact of cities. Provide universal access to safe, inclusive and accessible, green and public spaces.

Social and educational intervention in Nou Barris & the Besòs area

Program that includes the management of the Eucaliptus building, with 22 social housing units, and the organisation of social and educational activities with the aim of revitalising the cultural and associative life of the district of Nou Barris and the Besòs area. It contributes to goal 11.1, aimed at ensuring access for all to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services and upgrading slums.

European Observatory on Memories (EUROM)

The EUROM projects linked to memorialist interventions in the public space (always linked to processes of memory recovery promoted by civil society) favor the goals 11.3 and 11.4, which aim, respectively, to enhance capacity for participatory, integrated and sustainable human settlement planning and management, and to strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural heritage.
